Shaggy Rogers always asked about why they never investigated something like a haunted Burger King. Here's his chance: a Burger King franchise in Fort Wayne, IN has been the site of several supernatural occurrences. Up until recently, they had been limited to mere pranks, but now two workers have been killed. One teenager poured a deep fryer over his head, scalding himself to death and another pressed her hands onto a griddle until the skin burned completely off and she died of shock. OSHA has concluded that they were worker-related incompetence, but McCall International believes differently and is sending your team to investigate. Join in on another trek into the Unknown.

This new Stronghold game by Mike Fitzgerald is a trick-taking card game in which players collect Diamonds - not cards bearing that suit, mind you, but rather actual "Diamond Crystals". What makes the game of Diamonds different from other trick-taking card games is that when you cannot follow suit you get a "Suit Action" based on what suit you do play. Suit Actions are also taken by the winner of each trick, as well as at the end of a full Round of play. Whoever has the most points in Diamond Crystals at the end of the game wins!

1st & Goal pits two football teams in a classic gridiron match. Players call plays using the cards available in their hands. Yardage gained or lost is determined by a roll of the dice, and strategic play-calling makes all the difference as to which dice you get to roll for each play. The right offensive play might gain you a lot of yardage – unless the defense sets up correctly to stop it. After that, it all comes down to the roll of the dice...

1 / 16
This new Stronghold game by Mike Fitzgerald is a trick-taking card game in which players collect Diamonds - not cards bearing that suit, mind you, but rather actual "Diamond Crystals". What makes the game of Diamonds different from other trick-taking card games is that when you cannot follow suit you get a "Suit Action" based on what suit you do play. Suit Actions are also taken by the winner of each trick, as well as at the end of a full Round of play. Whoever has the most points in Diamond Crystals at the end of the game wins! The winner of this Championship will get an automatic seat in the quarter final round of the 2015 U.S. National Championship at Gen Con (with a free badge and a free room share)! Players may play in any or all of the four preliminary sessions, but may only qualify once.

Randomly drawn number cards are auctioned one at a time, with the highest bidder placing a chip on the matching board space. The first player to claim four spaces in a row, in any direction, wins. The winner of this Championship will get an automatic seat in the quarter final round of the 2015 U.S. National Championship at Gen Con (with a free badge and a free room share)! The 2015 Midwest Regional 1st & Goal Championship (Round 1B)
Vincent Salzillo
Double Exposure, Inc. / Envoy
0 / 16
1st & Goal pits two football teams in a classic gridiron match. Players call plays using the cards available in their hands. Yardage gained or lost is determined by a roll of the dice, and strategic play-calling makes all the difference as to which dice you get to roll for each play. The right offensive play might gain you a lot of yardage – unless the defense sets up correctly to stop it. After that, it all comes down to the roll of the dice... The winner of this Championship will get an automatic seat in the quarter final round of the 2015 U.S. National Championship at Gen Con (with a free badge and a free room share)! The Pipes of Uxphon
Mark Mayhew
6 / 6
Nobody knows who built the strange pipes of Uxphon, what their purpose is or was, or what they carried (or still carry). The pipes have simply always been there. Some still warm from the flow of some unknown fluid moving though them, others silent and dry. The city has grown around them, using them for warmth, shelter, and a solid foundation for their buildings. Recently though, the pipes have begun to change. Warm pipes have grown cold, "street" pipes have flooded with a strange, blue fluid that crystallizes in sunlight. And most troubling, one of the larger pipes has burst, collapsing several buildings built upon it and flooding the area with the same blue fluid. The party are called to investigate these disturbances and to help restore stability to the city of Uxphon.

"Dunwoody Dungeons"
1 / 5
$10,000 Dollars is offered for the Dirk
Digler Gang “Dead or Alive”. Your Posse is on it's way to Abilene to
track them down and collect the reward. All of you have your reasons
but dead or alive the “Dirk Digler Gang” is being brought in this time.

A horrific journey into the “Weird
West.” Mysterious beings called the Reckoners have given life to
monsters and magic, causing history to divert from July 4th, 1863
forward. The South has won its independence, California has shattered
into a labyrinth of flooded sea-canyons, and a mysterious super-fuel
called “ghost rock” has spawned as much war and strife as it has
“steampunk” devices.
Players are steely-eyed gunfighters,
card-slinging sorcerers called hucksters, mysterious shamans, savage
braves, mad scientists, and more who battle against evil and attempt
to prevent the “Reckoning”.

Magneto and The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants briefly took over the South American country of San Marco before the X-Men defeated them, but What If things had gone differently? Players will assume the role of The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants (The Blob, Mastermind, Unus the Untouchable, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and of course, Toad) who are now tasked with making Magneto's mad dream of a mutant homeland reality after the X-Men's aircraft is summarily crushed by a powerful wave of magnetic force. Conquering San Marco was easy enough for the Brotherhood, but ruling and rebuilding San Marco proves to be much more difficult as public utilities break down, rival factions fight among themselves and make assassination attempts on high government officials (mutants) and food supplies and basic necessities become increasingly scarce thanks to the United Nations enforced embargoes. The winning team will receive t-shirts and secure a seat at the national competition (GenCon badges, lodging, and transportation are NOT included if you win at WYC).

The event is for up to TWELVE 2 person teams. Each team has identical roles and Player Decks, and plays against the same Infection Deck (managed by the GM for the tourney). Epidemics happen at the same time for everyone, so the decisions you make are the key to success! Rounds are timed, so the pressure is intense! Winners are the first team to cure all 4 diseases OR the team that lasts the longest before being overwhelmed. Will your decisions be better than the other teams? That's the key to success in this amazing competition!

AquaSphere

A fun euro game that recently fulfilled its Kickstarter deliveries.
AquaSphere is a challenging game of strategy and tactics with different paths to victory that requires planning in advance as well as skillful use of short-term opportunities.

The AquaSphere is a research facility stationed deep below the ocean's surface, and your skilled team — consisting of an engineer, a scientist, reprogrammable bots and exploratory submarines — is trying to gather as much data as possible.

The game board in AquaSphere has two main areas: A research station comprised of six sectors in which your scientist conducts experiments and a headquarters where your engineer supervises preparation of the bots. During each of the four game rounds, you take several turns, and on each turn you either:
* Use your engineer in the headquarters to program a bot; each round you can choose from three of the seven actions.
* Have your scientist bring a bot to a sector to perform an action.

Players take on the roles of Quarriors - mighty mystical warriors who have the power to capture dangerous quarry from the untamed Wilds! They must conjure the mysterious powers of Quiddity, cast powerful spells, and summon their creatures to battle if they hope to overcome rivals and earn their rightful place as the Champion!

Quarriors has the frenetic excitement of a dice battle game, with an added ‘deckbuilding’ twist: players customize their dice pools during the game using resources generated by their rolls.

Quarriors takes the best of deckbuilding games without the tedium of shuffling. Take a typical deckbuilding game, add the speed and fun of dice and in 60 minutes you’re on your second or third game trying unique strategies against your opponents.

As you ponder the oddness of such a parcel being able to reach you, you flip the envelope over to see that it is sealed with wax stamped with a bizarre intricate pattern that is unrecognizable. You open the parcel as the aroma of old parchment hits you with a hint of lilac, the same fragrance you remember from the orphanage library where Sister Mary would read to you. As the stained paper slides into your hands you finally start to realize what you hold is an invitation of sorts and your mind begins to race with the possibilities such an invitation may invoke."

The 2015 Midwest Regional Diamonds Championship (Round 1D)
Vincent Salzillo
Double Exposure, Inc. / Envoy

Love Letter: Players attempt to deliver their love letter into the Princess’s hands while keeping other players’ letters away. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long and your letter may be tossed in the fire!

Lost Legacy: Each turn you play a card in order to eliminate other players from the game or discover where the Lost Legacy card could be found. When the deck runs out of cards, the Investigation phase begins. The player who determines where the Lost Legacy can be found wins!

Hairspray Potter and the Divine Waters
Ryan Weidenbenner
WAG
5 / 5
Harry Potter and his friends and allies are transposed to 1962 Baltimore where they find themselves increasingly troubled by the magical community's treatment of non-magical people, aka Muggles. Harry Potter and his fellow wizards live a privileged existence, taking a private train to Hogwarts, their ultra exclusive school, each meal a sumptuous feast and their personal messages relayed by a parliament of flying owls. Meanwhile, Muggles on the mean streets of 1962 Baltimore struggle to just get by. However, one day a month, Muggles are allowed to attend a dance at Hogwarts in the spirit of social advancement, even if they are summarily mind wiped afterward. Harry Potter, ever the social leader and hero, however, wishes that every day could be Muggle Day and does his best to challenge an inherently unjust system. You say that you want to be a wizard as well? Muggle, please!

Le Havre
Steven Montgomery
4 / 4
Le Havre is a fun worker placement and resource management eurogame for up to 5 players.

A player’s turn consists of two parts: First, distribute newly supplied goods onto the offer spaces; then take an action. As an action, players may choose either to take goods or use one of the available buildings. Building actions allow players to upgrade goods, sell them or use them to build their own buildings and ships. Buildings are both an investment opportunity and a revenue stream, as players must pay an entry fee to use buildings that they do not own. Ships, on the other hand, are used to provide the food that is needed to feed the workers as well as ship goods for money.

After each round: players’ cattle & grain may multiply through a harvest, and players must feed their workers. After a fixed number of rounds, each player may carry out one final action, and then the game ends. Players add the value of their buildings and ships to their cash reserves.
